Date Set for Spring BBQ
The Sunset Pavilion at Cedar Ridge Park has been reserved for Sunday, May 17.  Mark your calendar and plan to join us for this fun time of togetherness.




 Graduation Banquet
On Sunday, May 24th, we will honor our high school graduates with a banquet.  The banquet will take place following the a.m service and will include a catered meal, graduation video, and a presentation to our seniors.
 
If you would like to attend the banquet, please sign up and pay by Sunday, May 17th.  The cost is $9.00 for adults and $4.50 for children age 2-12.  The cost after May 17th is $11 for adults and $6.50 for children.  Sign up and payment may be made on the bulletin board and cash box near the secretary’s office.

Cherokee
This is the last Sunday, April 26, to bring food for the Cherokee Children’s Home’s food drive. A table is set up in the hall for grocery items. Please remember that the home welcomes monetary donations if you prefer to give in that manner. Place your marked checks in the grey cash box near the secretary’s office.


Ladies & Girls Retreat
The church has received brochures for “Ret’s Retreat”.  The retreat is for girls age 3rd-12th grade and women, and will take place April 24-26 at camp Hensel in Marble Falls.  See the family news bulletin board or speak to Tonita Stovall for more information.



Nicaragua Mission
Dates for Nicaragua Mission campaign are June 22-28.  The work will be with the Belen congregation, only 10 minutes from Jinotepe.  This church was established last year and this campaign will be used to strengthen the church.  







 
Austin Park and Pizza
On April 25, we will leave the church building at 9:00 a.m. to travel to Austin Park and Pizza for a fun day.  Bring $24, which will cover attractions and food all day.  Bring extra money for arcade games if you want to play. Sign up on Parker’s bulletin board if you plan to attend.

Camp Wyldewood Applications Due
A group from Northside will be attending  Camp Wyldewood  in Searcy, AR this summer from June 27-July 5.  Applications are available in the tray by Parker’s office.  The application and fee are due by Sunday, May 10.  Questions? Ask Parker.






Kings Kids Zoo Trip
The King’s Kids will caravan to the Cameron Park Zoo on Saturday, May 9 (Date Change).  The group will leave from the church building at 9.00.  Cost will be $4 for children (4-12), and $7 for adults.  Children under age 3 are free.  Please have exact change available, as we must pay as a group to get the reduced rate.  If we have 21 people or more attending, the cost will be $1 less per person.
So that we know who to expect, please sign up on the King’s Kids bulletin board.  Lunch will be on your own. 

Vacation Bible School
This year’s VBS will teach children about superheroes of the Bible.  If you would like to help in some way, please speak to Parker.  This year’s VBS will begin Sunday evening, August 2nd, offer classes in the morning on Monday through Wednesday, August 3-5, and wrap up with a closing program on Wednesday evening, August 5th.
